What Car Park is a free, independent UK parking finder. We help drivers across the United Kingdom locate car parks near airports, train stations, stadiums, hospitals, universities and city centres — without sign-ups, pop-ups or misleading claims.
Every day, thousands of UK drivers waste time circling unfamiliar streets, paying over the odds at the gate or risking a Penalty Charge Notice in the wrong bay. We built What Car Park to make that first step — "where do I actually leave the car?" — as quick and stress-free as possible.

Our guides are written by named UK-based editors and reviewed for accuracy before publication. Every article carries a byline and a "last updated" date so you know how fresh the information is. We:
- Don't invent prices, opening hours or availability.
- Don't accept payment to recommend a specific car park or app.
- Cite UK-specific rules, signage and terminology — not US or EU equivalents.
- Update articles when guidance, charges or major schemes change.
Who we are
What Car Park is run by a small UK-based editorial team with first-hand experience of driving and parking across the country — from match days at Old Trafford and Anfield to early-morning runs to Stansted and Luton. What we don't do
We are not a car park operator and we do not handle bookings or payments directly. We don't publish live prices, opening hours or live availability — those details are best confirmed with the car park or booking provider on the day of travel.
